MTN Limited Edition – Revolt

REVOLT was born and raised in New York City and emerged from the early 1970s graffiti scene. He is an original member of the historic NYC subway graffiti crew The Rolling Thunder Writers (RTW). Known for his vibrant, psychedelic-inspired tags and intricate pieces on the Broadway #1 line, REVOLT later expanded his influence “all-city,” leaving a lasting mark across New York.

He contributed to seminal hip-hop films like Wild Style and Style Wars, participated in the 1980s East Village gallery scene, and worked on music videos, album covers, animation, comics, vinyl toy design, and the iconic Yo! MTV Raps logo. His early 1980s tenure in Baltimore is legendary, where, as a “Messenger of Style,” he singlehandedly sparked the local graffiti scene, an influence that continues to be felt today.
