ANGELUS Preparer and Deglazer [147ml]

11.00

Angelus Preparer and Deglazer is an essential product when preparing leather items for painting, whether you are working on shoes, furniture, garments, upholstery, or accessories. Proper surface preparation is crucial, as paint will not adhere correctly to untreated leather. This solution effectively removes grease, dirt, and residue while also stripping away factory-applied finishes, creating a clean surface that allows new paint to bond securely and evenly.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT

It is recommended to use Angelus Preparer and Deglazer before applying the first coat of leather paint. The product is easy to apply and helps ensure a durable, long-lasting finish by improving paint adhesion. It is specifically formulated for smooth leather and provides an ideal base for achieving professional-quality results.

Using Angelus Preparer and Deglazer is a quick and straightforward process that requires little time. Apply the solution to a clean, lint-free cloth, sponge, or applicator pad and gently wipe the leather surface, making sure to cover seams, edges, and detailed areas. Once the entire surface has been treated, allow it to dry completely before proceeding with painting or dyeing the leather.

Please note that this product is not suitable for use on suede, plastic, skai, or vinyl surfaces.

When planning your project, a small 29.5 ml jar of Angelus leather paint is generally sufficient for a pair of leather shoes, while the larger 118 ml size can cover items such as a leather dining chair or car seat. For larger pieces like a two-seat leather sofa, approximately six 118 ml jars of paint are typically required. As a general guideline, the amount of Preparer and Deglazer and finisher needed is usually about half the amount of paint used.
