Description

Angelus Preparer and Deglazer

Are you planning to paint leather items, such as shoes, furniture, garments, upholstery, or clothing? To enjoy the best results possible, use Angelus Preparer and Deglazer. Proper preparation of the leather is essential, otherwise, the paint will not adhere properly. This Preparer and Deglazer removes grease and grime, ensuring the surface and the paint bond well. Often, a finisher is also applied to leather at the factory. It removes this old layer, allowing the new coat of paint to adhere even better.

Benefits

It is recommended to use it before applying the first coat of paint. The benefits of the Angelus Preparer and Deglazer include the proper cleaning of the leather surface and an easy application while ensuring a long-lasting beautiful result, as the paint layer will adhere to the leather in the best possible way. This product is specially designed for smooth leather.

Using the Angelus Preparer and Deglazer

Preparing smooth leather is not difficult, and it also doesn’t take much time at all. If you follow the steps below, using it is quick and easy, giving you the ideal base for applying a new coat of Angelus leather paint that will adhere perfectly!

  • Remove the cap from the jar and apply a splash of Angelus Preparer and Deglazer to, for example, a microfiber cloth, sponge or cotton pad (make sure it is clean and lint-free) or use our specially designed application pads for this purpose.
  • Coat the product to be painted, making sure to include corners, holes and seams. If necessary, add some extra to make sure everything is covered.
  • When you have treated the last areas of the leather with the products, let  it dry. After this, you can get to work painting or dyeing the leather.

Please note! The product is unsuitable for the pretreatment of suede, plastic, skai, and vinyl.

How much Angelus leather paint do I need?

  • A small 29.5 ml jar contains enough paint for a pair of leather shoes.
  • With the large 118 ml version, you can paint a car seat or dining room chair made of leather.
  • For a large two-seat sofa, use 6 jars of 118 ml each of leather paint as a rule.
